How is the course taught and assessed?

Teaching takes place both in a classroom setting and through a range of hands-on exercises. Participants are then assessed on their theoretical knowledge and practical competency.

Who should take this course?

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to achieve competency in operating a Ride on Roller. No prior training in Ride on Rollers is required.

What qualification will I receive?

Participants who successfully complete the CPCS technical tests will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card and CITB National Construction College accreditation.

Entry requirements

Course participants are required to have completed the CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test within two years of taking the course. Course applicants should also have a good level of both spoken and written English.

What can I do next?

Candidates who successfully complete the CPCS A31 course are then eligible to start working towards a Level 2 NVQ/SVQ, which leads on to a Blue Competent Operator Card.
