How is the Course Taught and Assessed?

The CPCS A59 course is taught via a combination of classroom-based theoretical learning and several practical elements.

The final assessment test will have a practical and a theoretical part to cover everything you have learnt.

Who should take this course?

This course is designed for individuals who aspire to become professional Excavator 360 operators and have no formal prior training. The course is also meant for existing operators who feel the need to refresh their knowledge. A shorter version of the course is available to the latter.

What Qualifications Will I Receive?

Upon successful completion of the course, the participating operators will be awarded with a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (after completion of the CPCS Technical Tests) and a CITB National Construction College certificate.

Entry Requirements

You are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test within the last two years. A good level in spoken and written English is also required.
