Domestic heating and plumbing come under the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration scheme (HVACR) as well as being a specialist role. The booking reference for the exam is HAPS, which is easy to remember, and while it is a part of HVACR, you shouldn’t expect a test that is wildly different. It will contain the CITB health and safety questions you have been preparing for, including a series of specialist questions that focus on your skills and trade, so there is nothing new or daunting that you won’t be able to prepare for. It should be noted that this is different from industrial and commercial plumbing.
